Research Projects
Peninsula Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for research at Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry, which is focused on four main themes:
- Diabetes, Cardiovascular Risk and Ageing
- Neuroscience (embracing both neurology and mental health)
- Health Services Research
- Environment and Human Health
Peninsula Foundation is funding many research projects which fall within these priority areas, through research grants, funding for equipment and research-training opportunities such as PhD studentships which support scientists early in their careers to contribute to medical research.
All of the research we fund is of vital importance for better care and treatment for patients and they are projects urgently requiring funds. The generosity of our supporters enables Peninsula Foundation to ensure that even when other funding opportunities are limited, important research projects can be realised, important work is continued and research successes are achieved.
If you are interested in finding out about specific projects or would like to give your support, please contact us.
